Major Projects Drive Pipe Demand; Breakthroughs in Ultra-Large Diameter and Specialty Pipe Technology Become a Trend
Recently, the implementation of several key domestic projects has driven technological upgrades in the pipe industry, with ultra-large diameter and highly corrosion-resistant pipes becoming the mainstream market trend. The construction of the Beijing-Taipei Expressway in Fujian Province adopted domestically developed 3400mm diameter ultra-thick-walled spiral steel pipes, filling a production gap in the province; the Chongqing Yunyang Urban and Rural Water Supply Integration Project explicitly selected plastic-coated steel pipes as the core water transmission pipeline to ensure water supply security; and overseas projects such as the Kazakhstan ethane-propane trunk line project have propelled my country's stainless steel pipe and anti-corrosion pipe technologies onto the international stage. Industry analysis indicates that with the expansion of emerging scenarios such as hydrogen energy transportation and CCS projects, specialty pipes with low-temperature toughness and high corrosion resistance will experience explosive growth, making technological innovation a core competitive advantage for enterprises.
